Jeana Sohn is a painter, photographer, blogger, and (from what I can tell) an excellent cook, living in Los Angeles. I'm not an art critic, so I won't try to label her work as this or that type, but there is a folk/story element to it that really resonates with me. If these pieces have names, I don't know them, but I will list names I think can be inspired by the paintings.
On her site, Closet Visits, she tours the closets of many beautifully dressed women, living in equally beautiful interior spaces.
From her photography site:
Her blog is also stocked with beautiful pictures, of course:
Finally, she co-runs another blog called Bap Story, with Bo Carney that features yummy Korean cooking and recipes! I really developed a passionate love of Korean food when we were living in Hawaii. I was less than a minuet from a terrific quick-serve restaurant, and I ate almost nothing but in my first trimester with Valo June. I haven't found anything like this place since moving, so I guess I'll have to try making the stuff myself!
I love each of her sites and the names associated with them.

Happy Monday!
I adore the name Sunny! sometimes I think it may not be substantial enough but she always raises a smile for me.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who calls her Grandma, Momo.
I love Sunny, too! I hear your concern, though. I'd love to see her as a nn for Sun, which seems more substantial, while owning fewer sounds and letters?
ReplyDeleteMomo is just bad to the bone. period. love it.
Love the blog. Such lovely images with even lovelier names.
ReplyDeleteDo you mind if I blogroll you?
